What it is
Mountains, mist, water, trees and small houses drift past slowly, drawn in Chinese ink style on your desktop background. The scene is made at random, so you never see the same view twice.
Make it yours
- Slow and calm. Use the Speed slider to go slower or faster.
- Your density. Put fewer or more things in the scene.
- Export a frame. Save the current view as a PNG.
- Pause. Freeze the picture and stop all work, then resume.
Quiet on your Mac
- Every display. Works on all connected screens.
- Light on your Mac. A native app with very low CPU and memory use.
- Private. No data, no network, no ads, no purchases.
It lives in the menu bar, with no Dock icon and no window. The landscape shows behind your icons. It changes your desktop picture (to plain paper, for Mission Control) only if you choose Apply App Background in the menu and press This Space. Quit the app and your normal wallpaper is back.
